Stand Apart…

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” Galatians 1:10 (NLT)

I played around with the idea of the “Women of Purpose” brand for months but never gave it much thought. I said I would take a break from my classes to devote more time to making it a reality and then I was terminated from my job and had the time to complete classwork and get my vision on paper so to speak.

I was looking at my facebook memories and came across an old instagram post where I shared Galatians 1:10. It was so funny to see that show up in my feed because I had just had a talk with Jesus earlier this morning and talked about being grateful for the courage to start “Women Of Purpose” not knowing if people would embrace it or take me seriously, but as long as I was pleasing HIM it would all be worth it. He really does speak to you in mysterious ways sometimes.

I said all that to say this: If/when the Lord places something on your heart to do or reveals your purpose to you then don’t hesitate to step out on faith and do whatever it is He has placed on you to say or do. He will equip you with everything you need to accomplish what He is calling you to do. Don”t allow people to deter you from walking in your purpose. We are not here to please man. We are here to serve the Lord and draw people into His kingdom. You may have your days when you feel like it’s not worth it and nobody is responding to you, but know that if you continue to do what you know you’ve been called to do the right people will respond. Even if you touch one person your work is not in vain. The Lord rejoices over the 1 just like he does over 1,000.

The moment you choose to stand apart from the crowd and be who God has called you to be the opportunities and possibilities are endless. You will be amazed at the doors that He will open for you and the people He will bring into your life to pour into you and bless you.

Stand strong, keep the faith, Trust in Him and pray until you see the manifestation of your prayers.
