Allow me to Congratulate Ms. Victoria Long.
Victoria is a mother of one Kaytlyn”Lady” Delani. A 6 year old little girl that’s full of life and keeps her on her toes moving and shaking. Victoria is the second oldest of fours siblings to Shirley Long. She is a member of Kingdom Builders in Birmingham, Al under the covering of Milton Wren Jr.
The Confessions of a Lady is a non-profit organization that speaks our against Domestic Violence and abuse with concentration on molestation and rape. The organization was founded in August 2015 after founder, Victoria Long had a conversation with her first lady and she asked “how long will you not walk in your purpose and not help other women who have gone through or are going through what you’ve gone through?” That very next day Victoria got on the move to hold her first women’s conference in October of 2015 and hasn’t looked back since.
Here we are in 2017 and Victoria is still moving full force with her initiative to bring full awareness and help to those who have been or are currently a victim if domestic or know someone who is.
On Saturday, March 4 Victoria is hosting Love After War: I Found My Inner Strength where she will present a fashion show, as well as, skits and speakers all surrounded around domestic violence. It will be serious and informative yet fun & eye opening.
It was time that Victoria told her story and allowed other women to do the same. No more living under the house rules of “what happens in this house stays in this house” because that is a bold face lie. When praying and asking God for guidance on what to do he gave her Proverbs 139:14 and paraphrased it saying “I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful and I know this full and well.” This brought to her Your imperfections make you perferct, your imperfectly perfect! Never allowing what people say and do to you to define you to think what they look like, speak like to make you think you’re not good enough.
