Favorite Scripture

I really have more than one but Psalms 46:5 is definitely my foundation scripture and Jeremiah 29:11 is a very close second.

I love these scriptures more than any other that I’ve read because no matter where I find myself on life’s journey, these will hold true to every situation. As an adult, I have made far more mistakes than I should considering all the sermons, readings and teachings I’ve been exposed to. I’m human though so I don’t always live like I’ve been taught, I try and I fail, I go through the same tests multiple times like I’m trying to set a new record or something. However, at this point in life, I wholeheartedly believe and have witnessed that no matter what; “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Psalms 46:5” life can and will throw curveballs at you all day when you begin to take your spiritual walk seriously. You will encounter tests and temptations that you never imagined would be placed before you. All these things are the enemy (and sometimes God’s) way of seeing how tough you are, how strong is your faith and/or how ready you are for your elevation to the next level. When those tests and trials come you have to tell yourself; “For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11” This scripture alone will help you determine if something is truly God’s doing or the enemy’s because God’s word can’t return unto Him void. His plan is never to harm of so if it hurts or harms you in any way then it can’t be from God. Just like they say, “if you have to force it then it wasn’t meant to be.”

There is too much free information out here to not be able to find the perfect scripture to help you get through whatever season you’re in whether good or bad. A simple google search or a search within whatever Bible app you use can cast down any tricks of the adversary. Just like Jesus in the wilderness was taunted and tempted by Satan and used the word of God to make him flee, we must apply those same principles and we can’t just think them or write them down, we must SPEAK them out of our mouths because Satan tries to control us via airways and music because he was the minister of music in heaven until he was cast out so put those scriptures and affirmations into the atmosphere and defeat his tricks.
